Expenditures for Bulgaria’s Presidency of the Council of the EU to exceed EUR 25 million

The expenditures for the preparation of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union starting on January 1, 2018, would exceed EUR 25 million and the forecasted amount is expected to be amended, Director of the National Center for the Preparation and Carrying Out of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU Yana Docheva announced. Over 18,000 delegates will visit Bulgaria in the first half of 2018 and the agenda will include over 230 events linked with the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
