3.4% of all Bulgarian university students drop out

 In 2016 nearly 8,000 Bulgarian students, or 3.4% of all students in this country, dropped out of the universities, analysis of Eurostat shows. This was so, because they lost the interest to study, or because they started work. 60,383 Bulgarians graduated in 2016, of whom 23,000 men and over 37,000 women. Nearly 27% of them graduated medicine, 18% graduated economics and 12% graduated law. Only 0.4% of the Bulgarians graduated journalism, 0.3% graduated natural science and 0.1% graduated mathematics.
