“Bulgarian and Romanian agriculture have similar characteristics, and the two ministries should act together to address the problems connected with the common agricultural policy of the EU and trade in farming products,” said Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Rumen Porodzanov at a working meeting with Romanian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Petre Daea.

In Bucharest the two reached agreement to coordinate the positions of Bulgaria and Romania and extend cooperation between the two countries at the upcoming talks, as well as to exchange information on preventive action for checking the spread of African swine fever.
