Bulgaria awards Croatian General Ante Gotovina with plaque

At Zemunik Air Base near the Croatian city of Zadar, Bulgarian Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov participated in the official opening of the training center under the Multinational Special Operations Aviation Training Program. Bulgaria, along with Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia, are among the founders of this program.

I am convinced that the initiative would be successful and would facilitate our joint efforts in the field of interoperability, Minister Karakachanov said. He pointed out that joint participation was another expression of existing political will to strengthen the defense potential of the Alliance. Minister Karakachanov presented an honorary plaque to Croatian war hero General Ante Gotovina.
