Premier Kiril Petkov has issued a decree to make the green certificate mandatory at the Council of Ministers. Kiril Petkov called on Bulgaria’s business to follow the example of the administration, which would increase vaccination rates in the country.

The newly-elected government will invest in education, so that the current first-grade students and adolescents have the competences needed by the labor market by 2080, Premier Petkov told the participants at the forum Powers Summit. “We cannot be successful in business and innovations if the healthcare system is not functioning, workers are ill and if we close our economy due to low vaccination rates", said Kiril Petkov. No pensioner should be living below the poverty line, Premier Petkov further said at the forum.
