"We have a positive attitude to the talks, but we will not grant unconditional support to the prospective cabinet," independent MP Georgi Georgiev said for the BNR ahead of today's negotiations with "We Continue the Change" on the formation of a new cabinet in the present National Assembly.

The independent MPs who left the parliamentary group of "There is Such a People" party will demand a programme with clear deadlines and topics. "The fight against corruption is a key themse for us. Nuclear energy and regional development are also on our top priority list, MP Georgi Georgiev said further.

The independent MPs will not demand any positions in the former cabinet, Georgi Georgiev pointed out. He did not rule out the possibility that GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) might support the prospective cabinet.

However, MP Toma Bikov from GERB said that his party "will not support the cabinet, because it does not approve Assen Vassilev's candidature for Prime Minister". MP Yordan Tsonev from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms also said for bTV that "the MRF will vote against" and that "it is better to hold snap elections".
