Rebranding Bulgaria as a place for creating high-tech innovations and where good business can be done, which will be attractive to investors. This is what Milena Stoycheva, the minister of Innovation and Growh, said will be the priority in the work of the ministry, talking to the BNR.

According to her, work is being done on a strategy to strengthen the role of the Bulgarian Development Bank as a promotional bank for small and medium-sized businesses. Stoycheva also pointed out that the 175 million euro financial agreement signed between the European Investment Bank and Bulgarian Development Bank will support companies affected by supply chain disruptions and high food and energy prices due to the war in Ukraine.

The Bulgarian Development Bank is a credit institution, 100% owned by the Bulgarian state. It was established in 1999 with a main focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
