European Commissioner McGuinness to pay a working visit to Bulgaria

The European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets Union, Mairead McGuinness, will pay a working visit to Bulgaria on December 4 and 5, the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria said. Today, Commissioner McGuinness will meet with Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, Deputy Premier Mariya Gabriel, Finance Minister Assen Vassilev and Energy Minister Rumen Radev, as well as with members of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finance and the Parliamentary Committee on the European Union Affairs, the Schengen area and the Euro area. 

On Tuesday, Mairead McGuinness will visit the Kapital Andreevo-Kapikule border checkpoint on the Bulgaria-Turkiye border. Later, she will hold talks with representatives of the FinTech sector.
