Vice President Iliana Iotova congratulated the Bulgarian military contingent participating in NATO’s peacekeeping force in Kosovo (KFOR) on the occasion of the Day of Bravery and the Bulgarian Army. She attended an official ceremony held in Pristina.

“You are a guarantor of security not only for Bulgaria, but for the entire region, which unfortunately still cannot find the peace and stability we all long for. You, the Bulgarian soldiers here, know best the true cost of peace, you bequeath these messages to those who come after you. There are many moments in which you fight so that people may have peace, security and stability”, Iliana Iotova said in her address to the Bulgarian troops at the “Film City” base.

Vice President Iotova left for an official visit to Montenegro, which will continue until May 8.
