Boxer Kubrat Pulev: We must put an end to unpunished murders

The competent authorities must make sure there are no more unpunished murders in this country, Renowned Bulgarian boxer Kubrat Pulev said. His comment came several days after a young Bulgarian was almost beaten to death in front of a night club in Sofia and later was found in a coma. The young guy has already regained consciousness, yet he is in a state of partial amnesia. Bulgarian boxer Kubrat Pulev who was at that time in the same night club provided first aid to the guy who swallowed his tongue, thus rescuing the young man from suffocation. Accidents like this one have been happening in Bulgaria for many years. Children die and are quickly forgotten and those who take their lives walk in the streets unpunished. This must stop once and for all. The local institutions must wake up. The law enforcement institutions-police, prosecutor’s office and the whole judicial system must unite and start working professionally. No crime should be left unpunished. People who go out to have fun should not lose their lives anymore. We can not continue standing aloof when hundreds of families are watching the killers of their children walk in the streets unpunished, Kubrat Pulev wrote on his Facebook profile.
