Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev officially opened the modernized Bezmer airport near Yambol.
Over 62 million Leva has been invested in lengthening the runway and in the airport’s infrastructure. The aim of the airport’s modernization is to make it fully compatible with NATIO standards for the deployment of strategic transport aircraft, Prime Minister Borissov said at the opening.
