The village of Oreshak (Central North Bulgaria) hosts from May 3 until May 5 the International Arts and Crafts Festival. Artisans from Bulgaria, Poland, Canada, India, Iran, Palestine, Indonesia, Algeria, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq and Cuba display unique works of art at the festival. The main idea of the organizers is to acquaint the guests with the whole potential of the cultural traditions of different Bulgarian regions in the first day of the event. The second day of the festival is dedicated to the Arab cuisine and the Indian mysticism. On the third day, which was named The Magic of Crafts, wood-carvers, potters and icon-painters are to present author’s works of art created within the frameworks of the festival itself. The initiative is accompanied with a rich folklore program.
