After meeting with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in Sofia, the European Commissioner for Climate and Energy Miguel Arias Cañete stated that Bulgaria had the potential to build a powerful gas hub on its territory because it had a well-developed pipeline network. Such a hub will enable the use of different sources of gas, including Russian gas.
