A passenger travelling in Sofia public transport without a ticket sprayed with pepper spray four people in a tram in Bulgaria’s capital. His aggression was due to a quarrel with several ticket inspectors. The perpetrator is wanted by the Police, the reporter of the Bulgarian National Radio Nikolay Hristov announced. The accident occurs several days before the introduction of the new ticket prices in Sofia public transport. As of June 1, a single ticket in Sofia will cost 80 Eurocents, whereas its current price amounts to 50 Eurocents only. A protest against the new ticket prices is to be held on Monday evening downtown Sofia.
