Israeli investments in Bulgaria amount to over EUR 1 billion in 2015

The Israeli investments in Bulgaria made directly or through international companies amounted to at least EUR 1 billion in 2015, the Ambassador of Israel to Sofia Irit Lilian announced. Ambassador Lilian added that last year the number of Israeli tourists visiting Bulgaria saw 30% increase. Over 200,000 Israeli nationals visited that country in 2015. Thus, Israel placed 5th in terms of the number of foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria last year.
