Two Bulgarian female tennis players reach semifinals in Budapest

Victoria Tomova qualified for the semifinals in the prestigious red clay court tennis tournament in Budapest with USD 100,000 in prize money. The 21-year old Bulgarian competitor won a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory versus No. 5 seed Rebecca Peterson, Sweden. Tomova has 50 points for the world rank list and to reach the finals will be facing Nicoleta Daskalu, Romania.

Another Bulgarian competitor will be playing in the other semifinals match – 26-year old Elitsa Kostova versus Fanni Stollar, Hungary.
