Bulgarian women on maternity leave who decide to return to work before their child turns 1 will be able to receive 50% of their maternity allowance. Bulgaria’s Ministry of Labor and Social Policy intends to propose such amendments to the Social Security Code, Bulgaria’s Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zornitsa Rusinova announced on Tuesday.
