Bulgaria’s Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zornitsa Rusinova announced that youth unemployment fell by 3% to nearly 13% in the past twelve months. The employment measures of the Bulgarian cabinet in 2016 will help another 20,000 young Bulgarians aged 29 or under to find a job or work on probation. By the end 2016 employment schemes to the tune of EUR 340 million will be opened under the Human Resources Development Operational Programme in support of the Bulgarian employers, aimed at improving the working conditions, encouraging labor mobility and opening job positions for unemployed and inactive people.
