Ludogorets continues in Champions League playoffs

In the Serbian capital city of Belgrade the Bulgarian team of Ludogorets won 4:2 against Crvena Zvezda (Red Star). Top scorers for Ludogoretz became Jonathan Cafu and Wanderson with hat-trick. The first match between the teams on Bulgarian land finished 2:2. The victory of Ludogorets now has secured a place for the team in the playoff round of the Champions League, as well as 3 million euro. Ludogorets has also become the first Bulgarian team not only to win against "Red Star" at their home stadium, but also to throw the Serbian team out of the tournament. Over the years this had not been achieved by teams like CSKA, Botev (Plovdiv) and Lokomotiv (Plovdiv).
