Bulgarian Minister of Interior discusses migration pressure with German counterpart

Bulgarian Minister of Interior Rumyana Bachvarova, who is on an official visit to Germany, has discussed with her German counterpart Thomas de Maiziere, possibilities for Germany and the EU to provide help against migration pressure at Bulgarian borders. The interior ministers of Bulgaria and Germany have also discussed issues related to the creation of a centre at the Ministry of Interior for combating illegal migration and trafficking. In this respect, the Bulgarian Interior Minister will get acquainted with the work of the German Federal Police's strategic and analytical centre for countering illegal migration. The program of the visit also includes talks over cybersecurity and European cooperation.
