Producer prices mark decline in July

The overall producer price index in Bulgaria declined by 0.2 percent in July 2016 compared to the previous month and by 4.3 percent from a year earlier. For a month prices in mining and quarrying industries dropped by 1.2 percent; in manufacturing - by 0.2%, and in the energy sector - by 0.3%. The decline in coal prices reached 1.4 percent and the price of electrical equipment dropped by 0.1%. In comparison to  June, the largest rise marked factory prices of basic metals - 1.9 percent, as well as clothing - 0.8 percent.
