The Bulgarian National Assembly has adopted an annual report on the national security of Bulgaria for 2015, which shows growth of security threats to this country and Europe as a whole. The report points out the actions and measures taken by the Bulgarian government to address foreign risks to national security. In 2015, these challenges and threats arise mainly from the war in Syria and the instability in other regions of the world as well as some countries in Africa, which generated refugee and migration pressure on EU countries. The crisis in Ukraine and the change in the strategic security environment in Europe and in particular the Black Sea region are also focuses in the report.
