A fire is raging near the village of Gramatikovo, Malko Tarnovo Municipality in the region of Burgas. Local authorities say it could have been started by illegal migrants detained earlier today near the village. For the time being the fire’s perimeter is small but it borders on pine forests, the Mayor of Malko Tarnovo Iliyan Yanchev said. Fifty locals including firemen and volunteers have joined efforts to extinguish the fire. The signal for it was submitted by local residents. At the same time seven migrants were detained and a little later a second group, Mayor Yanchev explained. He said the fire presents no threat for the population of Gramatikovo.
