The EU countries have common interest in protecting successfully Bulgaria’s borders

The European Union has common external borders and the member states have common interest in protecting successfully Bulgaria’s borders, Hungary’s Premier Viktor Orban said on Wednesday. Orban and Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov visited and inspected the Bulgaria-Turkey border near Lesovo border checkpoint. In Viktor Orban’s words, the Bulgarian cabinet has done a lot of work. However, it was not fare for that country to organize the protection of its state border alone, because it protects the whole Europe from illegal immigration. Premier Orban added that the future of Europe is set on its external border. That is why Europe must also provide assistance to that country. Viktor Orban said that he would do his best during the forthcoming summit in Bratislava, so that Bulgaria can receive the necessary assistance. Premier Borissov said in return that Bulgaria would insist to receive immediate financial assistance worth EUR 160 million. Hungary’s Premier Viktor Orban is paying a visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Premier Borissov. Borissov and Orban are exchanging opinions ahead of the EU summit in Slovakia’s capital on Friday.
