EU, Canada to sign CETA on Sunday

The European Union and Canada are expected to sign the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement on Sunday, October 30. Following tense negotiations all 28 EU member states agreed to sign under CETA. The agreement will be signed in Brussels in the presence of Canada’s Premier Justin Trudeau, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk and the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. Recently, Bulgaria  agreed to sign under CETA. In return, Canada will lift the visa regime for Bulgarian nationals in 2017.
