Jean-Claude Juncker and Boyko Borissov to discuss possible candidates for Kristalina Georgieva’s position

European Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas has confirmed that Jean-Claude Juncker and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov will hold a telephone conversation to discuss possible names that could take the vacant position of Kristalina Georgieva. The European Commission will consult the European Parliament over the decision to transfer the "Budget" portfolio to Gunther Oettinger after on Friday Vice-President of the European Commission and Bulgarian EU Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva resigned, in order to take an offered position in the World Bank.
