The total spending per household in the third quarter of 2016 is 625 euros monthly, which shows a rise by 4.7%. In the structure of total costs food has the largest share (31.6 percent), followed by housing (16.7%), taxes and social security taxes (11.6%), and transport and communications (10.8%).
