More than one-third of Bulgarians cannot afford holidays

A Eurostat report on material deprivation of European households in 2014 has found that 37 percent of Bulgarians cannot afford regular vacations or recreation, and about 30 percent cannot go out with friends even once a month out of financial problems. Under these indexes only Romania fares worse than Bulgaria – in that country 56 percent of the population cannot afford regular holidays.
