Kubrat Pulev is the winner in a match for the WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight title after his rival Samuel Peter, the Nigerian nightmare, gave up in the third round. This way the Bulgarian professional boxer won with a technical knockout. The Bulgarian boxer entered Sofia’s Armeets Arena under the sound of 100 low pitched Rhodope bagpipes and was hailed by the 15,000-strong audience. With this success Kubrat Pulev has become mandatory challenger of the world title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF), where Anthony Joshua is currently No. 1.
