At a meeting in Sofia with outgoing Prime Minister Boyko Borissov a delegation of the China National Nuclear Corporation has confirmed the interest of the corporation to participate in realization of the Belene nuclear power plant project on commercial basis, without government investments and without long-term contracts for purchasing electricity. Currently, the China National Nuclear Corporation operates successfully sixteen nuclear units in China and is building additional nine.
