Consumption per capita in Bulgaria is 53 percent of EU average

In 2015, the actual individual consumption, which is used as a measure of wealth of households and expressed in purchasing power standards, varied greatly between EU Member States, ranging from 53% of the EU average level in Bulgaria to 137% in Luxembourg. This was announced by the National Statistical Institute. In 2015, GDP per capita, measured in purchasing power standards, ranged from 47% in Bulgaria to 264% in Luxembourg compared to its average in the EU.
