The National Statistical Institute has reported that at basic prices total production of the agricultural sector in Bulgaria in 2016 reached 3.58 billion euros, which is 6.7 percent less in comparison to the previous year. The decline was due mainly to a decline in prices - 5.6%, as well as to a 1.2 percent decline in volume. Gross added value created in agriculture has decreased by an average of 6.6 percent compared to 2015.
