Christmas Survachka cornel sticks sold at charity auction

Christmas Survachka cornel sticks made for the traditional contest of Etara ethnographic museum will be sold at a charity auction. The charity event is in support of the Bulgarian Christmas charity initiative held under the auspices of the Bulgarian President. The organizers from Etara ethnographic museum received nearly 200 cornel-tree twigs decorated under an ancient Bulgarian tradition with popcorn, chili peppers, dried fruit, woolen tassels and thread. They were made by children from all parts of Bulgaria.
