Rumyana Arnaudova

Rumyana Arnaudova, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General has confirmed that the prosecutor’s office is checking the legality of the operation of the arms factory in Lyaskovets, after Bulgarian arms were found in Aleppo.

Meanwhile an expert from the Centre for Middle Eastern studies commented that Bulgaria was not selling arms to Syria directly, but that the Bulgarian weapons and munitions found there were sold via third countries. “We are not selling weapons to terrorists, but to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and USA,” the expert said.
