I will rely on experts in the caretaker cabinet, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev told the Bulgarian National Television. President Radev said categorically that he would not act as Prime Minister and would not interfere in the work of any government. The caretaker cabinet must be efficient and bring Bulgaria successfully to the early Parliamentary elections in the coming difficult months, Rumen Radev further said. I would like to point out categorically that the Bulgarian Socialist Party has not influenced my decisions related to the appointment of the interim government, which does not mean that I will refrain from appointing left-wing politicians. I believe that Bulgaria’s Presidency of the European Council will be successful, President Radev said.
