The movie "Blind Vaysha" by Teodor Ushev has received a nomination for "Oscar" for best short animated film. The 8-minute-long film is based on a story by writer Georgi Gospodinov. It is difficult to make films based on great literary works. I had to forget about text and imagine it as drawings, Teodor Ushev says. He has been living and working in Montreal, Canada, from 1999.
