"I love flying," Svetlin says smiling and irradiates enthusiasm while telling about his trips in Bulgaria, along with his drone. From early childhood, the young man is keen on photography, and several years ago started doing drone photography. People have been impressed by the incredibly beautiful images and videos that Svetlin presents. He tells us about the beginning of this beautiful experience:
"I remember when I was little, my parents gave me a camera to photograph pines in the forest. Everyone was very impressed about my photos. Maybe they just wanted to encourage me as I was a small child but I believed them and headed in that direction. I've always been interested in shooting things and showing the world through my eyes. I have been using drones for four years."
On the website of Svetlin we find beautiful footage of Bulgaria.
"I like Bulgaria and it is impressive that there are so many interesting things on such a small area - rivers, mountains, peaks, sea. There are many secret places that not everyone knows about. One of my favourite places is Sinemorets. I made a video about the place with music that came from my soul. I make such videos for fun and to show them to people. In this way I can share the beauty of a place with the world," Svetlin says.
Of course, shooting from above is linked to some difficulties and funny situations. For example, once the battery was low and the drone landed at a stadium. Once it survived a collision with a car and once was lost for several days in the mountains. These events, however, are an integral part of the way of a photographer to perfection.
"When viewed from the side, it often looks easy, but one must be responsible. There are complex situations when flying over people and over settlements. The drone is still is a machine and there can always be surprises," the photographer says.
Svetlin has other talents too. He plays the piano and writes music. Recently the young man united his two passions in "Drone Flew over Bulgaria - Exhibition and Piano Concert," which told the audience his personal story of how drone photography became his profession and showed beautiful footage of his travels. The young man says one should follow their heart because it will lead us on the path to happiness and success.
