Bulgarian Socialist Party endorses heads of party tickets for upcoming general election

At a meeting of its National Council, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP)  approved the leaders of the party tickets for the upcoming early general election.

BSP leader Kornelia Ninova will head the party ticket at constituency No. 25 in Sofia, whereas BSP deputy chairman Stefan Danailov will head tickets in two constituencies – in Varna and constituency No. 24 in Sofia. The list includes journalists like Elena Yoncheva – Haskovo, Toma Tomov – Blagoevgrad, Alexander Simov – Kurdjali.  

Earlier in the day Kornelia Ninova stated that 40 percent of the people at the head of party tickets were new faces, the remaining 60 percent she described as experienced parliamentarians.
