Bulgarian athlete Stanimir Belomazhev won the gold medal in the men’s middle distance event at the World Ski Orienteering Championships in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Belomazhev stopped the clock at 33.48.15 minutes and was 15 seconds faster than Erik Rost (Sweden) who earned silver.
