The gray economy sector in Bulgaria shrunk to 28% in 2016, according to data from the annual survey of the Association of Industrial Capital. This way Bulgaria is leaving the group of countries with the largest share of gray sector and the trend has been sustainable, chairman of the organization, Vasil Velev, said.
According to him, data are expected to be confirmed by international studies. When we started to deal with this problem, the share of gray economy in our country was estimated to be over 40 percent.
