At a meeting with rectors of universities of arts and culture, as well as the rector of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Minister of Culture Boil Banov launched the idea of the active involvement of the academic community in some of the events and initiatives during Bulgaria’s Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2018.

The idea, which met with the active support of students a few days ago, evoked a positive response among the rectors. Mutual interest was expressed in fruitful cooperation and, wherever possible, implementation of joint projects between the Ministry of Culture and individual universities.
