The Ministry of Tourism has announced it has conducted the first due diligence procedure of the sea beaches in Bulgaria which are under concession.
The measures were carried out by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of the Interior, the Fire Safety and Civil Protection Chief Directorate, institutions in charge of environmental protection and water, the Maritime Administration Executive Agency and local authorities.
Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova commented that the aim of the procedure was to ascertain whether there is compliance with legal requirements on the one hand, and on the other – to make sure tourists are well cared for.
