On Sunday, visitors to the National Library in Sofia could see on display the original personal notebook of Bulgarian revolutionary Vasil Levski. This is the fourth time the document leaves the vaults of the Bulgarian National Bank, where it is stored.

'The notebook of the Apostle of Freedom is a unique document that contains extremely valuable information and it is our national responsibility to preserve it for the next generations of Bulgarians. It is kept under special conditions, ensuring not only its security but also its physical protection,' head of Saints Cyril and Methodius National Library, Associate professor Krasimira Alexandrova, told the Bulgarian National Radio.

A digital version of Vasil Leski's notebook would also be presented and it would be available for smart phones, it was reported.
