Bulgarian government planning to extend lifespan of 5th and 6th units at Kozloduy NPP by at least 20 years

The Bulgarian government is planning to extend the lifespan of the 5th and the 6th nuclear units at Kozloduy nuclear power plant by at least 20 years, Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova announced. Bulgaria aims to extend the lifespan of the 5th and the 6th nuclear units at Kozloduy NPP before their operational license expires.
