The Unification of Bulgaria is a well-thought and joint act of an inspired nation, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev said on Wednesday evening in the city of Plovdiv during the official ceremony that marked the 132nd anniversary since the Unification between the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia. In September 1885 a resurrected nation took its destiny into its own hands and obliterated the boundaries drawn by the Great Powers, Bulgaria’s head of state said.
