House prices in Bulgaria up 8% year on year

In the second trimester of 2017 house prices in the EU (and in particular in the Eurozone) saw the biggest increase in the past 10 years. In Bulgaria the increase of house prices during that period was twice bigger than the EU average, data of Eurostat show. Thus, Bulgaria placed among the five EU countries with biggest increase of real estate prices in the second quarter of 2017. House prices in Bulgaria increased with 8.6% year on year, prices in the Czech Republic saw 13.3% increase, prices in Ireland went up by 10.3%, in Lithuania by 10.2% and Latvia-by 9.6% year on year.
