Bulgaria is ready to take the helm of the Council of the EU. It is our ambition during the Bulgarian EU Presidency to make the European Union stronger and more stable, said PM Boyko Borissov at a joint sitting of the Bulgarian government and the European Commission focusing on the country’s upcoming rotating Presidency in the first half of 2018.
Bulgaria’s efforts will be focused in three principal directions: consensus, competitiveness, cohesion, the Bulgarian prime minister emphasized.
