Italy supports Bulgaria for the integration process of the Western Balkans. This was made clear at a meeting of Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva with Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano.

]In Rome, the two officials discussed the priorities during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
