Connectivity, improving conditions for doing business in Western Balkans key to their integration: Boyko Borissov

Speaking over the phone with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has discussed ongoing work on the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the first half of 2018.

The two senior officials have accentuated connectivity, infrastructure and improving conditions for doing business and for investments in the region.

Central to the conversation has been the forthcoming meeting in Sofia of Premier Boyko Borissov with the leaders of the Western Balkans which will be held parallel with a World Bank conference on regional cooperation.

Other topics discussed by Borissov and Vucic included talks in the four-country format Bulgaria – Greece – Romania – Serbia scheduled to take place in Belgrade in December.
