No current data on spread of ruthenium-106 over Bulgaria

There is no danger to the health of the citizens, as at present there are no data for the transfer of radionuclides on the territory of Bulgaria. This was reported by the Health Ministry, referring to the National Center for Radiobiology and Radiation Protection.

The report came in connection with information in media that a radioactive cloud with ruthenium-106 has passed over Bulgaria. According to experts, the measured values ​​are low and do not require any radiation-protection measures taken.
